Maryland 2013 Individual Artist Award


Individual Artist Awards for Maryland Residents
The next deadline is July 27, 2012. Awards will be announced in February of 2013.  The 2013 Individual Artist Award application is open for Maryland individual artists practicing within these disciplines:       
Fiction

Theater: Solo Performance 
Visual Arts: Media/Digital/Electronic Arts Visual Arts: Painting  
Visual Arts: Works on Paper     
For detailed eligibility instructions and guidelines, please review the FY 2013 Individual Artist Award Guidelines.  

Applications must be submitted through CueRate, the electronic grant application system. To apply, visit the MAAF web site and follow the CueRate instructions. 

Prior to the grant application deadline, there will be three webinars on how to apply via CueRate. Registration is required to participate in the webinars. Please review the schedule below and call (410.539.6656 ext. 101; TTY: 1-800-735-2258) or email Ann Turiano to register for a webinar. In your email, you should include: 
1. Name2. Contact information--day/evening phone numbers and email address; and
3. The date and time of the webinar for which you are registering.   
4. Please contact MAAF two weeks ahead if you have special needs.
     
WEBINAR 1: June 22, 2012 | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM   
WEBINAR 2: July 11, 2012 | 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM     
WEBINAR 3: July 14, 2012 | 10:00 AM - 11.30 AM  
 
Those applying for an IAA must use CueRate to submit grant applications electronically. MSAC and MAAF offer CueRate/Digital Image webinars for IAA applicants. 
All information about applying for an Individual Artist Award, including grant information, eligibility and application guidelines and the CueRate webinar schedule, is available on the MAAF web site.
Please note that registration is required to participate in the CueRate/Digital Image Webinars. Individuals who register will receive an email with instructions on how to join the webinar. Please contact MAAF two weeks ahead if you have special needs.

The Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) Individual Artist Awards (IAA) Program awards grants to Maryland artists through an anonymous, competitive process that encourages and sustains the pursuit of artistic excellence across the state. The program is administered by the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.
